Does Austria have much problem with Creationism? I know central Europe is fairly Creationist free, but Eastern Europe seems to have a bit of trouble — is that spreading inwards?
Problem? No... most of all we didn't have that discussion about what's supposed to be taught at schools. I don't have the numbers at hand, but certainly there are less people believing in any form of creationism than in countries such as Poland. Still, you might be interested what Austrian catholic church cardinal Schoenborn had to say about evolution in a New York Times interview last year. This astonished many of us.
